XIII PROMISES is a short and intense larp in three acts.
The first act you arrive at the country house, reunite with old friends, lovers and rivals and perform the ritual to invite the Devil to begin bargaining.
The second act focuses on the bargaining process. It includes the continued payments the Devil requires to maintain the negotiations. Social norms and the facades quickly erode and expose all hidden desires, fears and the most ugly and deeply seeded desires.
The third act concludes with your final choice. Will you accept the bargain once again or walk away losing all you have gained?
XIII PROMISES is a psychological horror larp with erotic elements.
Thirteen years ago, a group of privileged young people struck thirteen deals with the Devil.
The deals would make them all successful and fabulous in their own preferred way. Some wanted to be wealthy, others influential, desired or powerful. All was delivered to them by the devil as promised.
But a price needed to be paid thirteen years after the deals were made. And the devil would come for interest many times during the thirteen years.
They meet now at an exclusive and discrete country house to renegotiate the thirteen-year promise made with the devil.
All are tied together by the deals of their youth. The price of their success serve as a permanent bond. No matter how they feel about each other there is no escape. They are bound by the Devils promises.
